NEW GUARDZ RADIO

Hailing from all over London, UK Rap supergroup, ‘New Guardz’, have been building a reputation over the last 8 years performing across the UK and extending further across Europe, most recently touring their 2021 debut album as a crew: TRIBE, with their live band ‘The Direwolves’.

On the show, New Guardz showcase a plethora of both emerging and veteran talent from musicians to comedians and all sorts of entertainers, but the debates and topics are usually rooted in hip hop and other forms of rap music. You are sure to hear pounding hip hop, grime and similar music from all over the world, old skool to current on the Guardz show playlist, and hear freestyles and renditions from the talented guests and the Guardz themselves.

Omage (formerly Brihthall), a DJ and Producer born in Birmingham and now based in London, draws on an eclectic range of musical influences and tastes. Characterised by slick syncopated rhythms, potent drums, and resonating basslines, his sets guarantee movement. He also hosts the interview and mix series Offerings.

SMOOVE KRIMINAL

Smoove Kriminal’s history in music pre-dates Grime but, as a producer, finally started releasing music when UK Funky made its way on to the UK underground scene. His Mode show focuses on fresh-out-the-lab music with Afrocentric roots, playing genres like Amapiano, UK Funky and Tribal House, featuring special guests with a similar musical taste and background but also likes to switch it up with his vinyl only sets from time to time.

Sizer has been blending worlds of sound together from young. Cardiff based Coco has been transporting listeners and viewers to another dimension with her visual and audio expression over the years. SHADÉ JOSEPH

Shadé Joseph is a musician, music producer, and poet from East London. Her show, Tribe With Me, is a space to celebrate with her peoples, friends & the creatives who inspire her. She usually showcases their work, challenging them with fun interactive prompts, and curating a conversation that explores how their personal lives intersect with their own creativity and the art they consume. In Shadé’s words, this show is “musical, intellectual banter”.

ARCHITEK

ArchiTek is the mind behind Oxford-based DJ collective and events group GRO:FM, where he has sold out shows across the UK. He is also the President of Hull University’s Crystal Clear Society, which started as a grime society in 2005 and has been a major player in Hull’s night life ever since.

ArchiTek’s show contains a wide range of authentic & eclectic dance music. Expect sounds ranging from RnB-infused grime, to bass-heavy dub and uk dubstep, to jungle reminiscent of the sound of the late 90s and early 2000s, to the more ambient IDM synonymous with the likes of Burial and Aphex Twin.
